This Privacy Policy explains how we process account and photo analysis data when you use bsideinsight.com (the "Service").
1. Scope of Information Processed
The Service may process the following information to provide functionality:
(1) Information provided by users
- Account and authentication data: email, user ID, login method (Google OAuth or email), and basic profile data provided by the authentication provider.
- Photo and input data: uploaded image data, shooting intention text, EXIF/metrics used for analysis, and generated report content.
- Account-based report history data: saved reports, thumbnail paths, creation time, and user ID.
(2) Automatically collected information (minimal logs)
The following technical logs may be generated for service stability and error response:
- Request time, response status, error codes, IP/User-Agent, and event logs related to login, analysis, and report APIs.
Important: The Service does not collect payment information or store full card numbers or card verification values (CVV/CVC).
2. Purpose of Processing
- Account authentication and login support (Google social login and email login)
- AI photo analysis, feedback generation, and report display
- Account-based report history, genre analysis, and reference comparison features
- Security, abuse prevention, operational monitoring, and customer support
3. Storage and Retention
Server-side storage (report data)
- For signed-in users, we store up to 10 recent photo reports (score, diagnosis, report JSON, metadata) and private thumbnail files.
- Report history is connected to an authenticated account; saving is not provided while signed out.
Temporary storage in browser (sessionStorage)
- During a browser session, some values (e.g., EXIF, metrics, intention text) may be temporarily stored in sessionStorage for UX.
- sessionStorage may be deleted when the browser tab/session ends, and may vary depending on user environment (browser settings/extensions/memory policy).
Technical logs
- We may retain technical logs for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- As a principle, these logs do not contain full image binaries or full free-form user text.
4. Third-Party Processors (AI, Auth, Advertising)
To operate the Service, we use third-party processors such as AI APIs, Supabase (auth/database/storage), Google OAuth, and advertising platforms.
- Photo/text data may be transmitted to AI providers to generate analysis results.
- Authentication data may be processed by auth providers to complete sign-in.
- Each processor handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Cookies, Login Sessions, and Personalized Ads
Cookies or similar technologies may be used for login sessions (including Google OAuth), security, and advertising services such as Google AdSense.
You can manage cookies and personalized ad preferences through browser settings or Google ad settings.
6. User Choices and Rights
- Please avoid uploading photos or text containing sensitive personal information of yourself or others.
- You can limit cookies through browser settings and control personalized advertising preferences.

7. Security
The operator strives to apply reasonable security measures necessary for service provision. However, 100% security cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the internet environment.
